McNeil Wentz House. Wentz descendent Ginny Sinn recently shared with the Farmstead staff some photographs and information about an early 19th century house in Whitemarsh. The house now belongs to the McNeil Corporation, but formerly had been the home and farm of Jacob and Ella Wentz, Ginny’s grandparents. Jacob’s great-great-grandparents were Peter and Rosanna Wentz who built the house at the Farmstead. We are pleased to learn more about the Wentz descendents and the places they lived in Montgomery County.
