Our Museum Shop has a unique array of items for sale. They range from colonial crafts and books up through contemporary birdhouses and accessories. Our handcrafted box loom, warped with linen threads, shares the history of the tape weaving art and includes both the shuttle and instructions. You will find attractive redware especially scrafitto plates with German quotations.
We sell a limited edition print of the Farmstead by local artist, William Bourne. Our selections of historic books include current learnings on American Indians and issues of slavery and colonial women’s lives. There are many wooden toys, crafts, and books about life in the 18th century available for children. It is a terrific place to visit just for the conversations that follow!
Interesting and informative books abound in the Museum Shop along with an assortment of Eric Sloane books.
Our shop managers spend countless hours acquiring many of the unique items available for sale and we are proud of the fact that approximately ninety percent of the items in the shop are made in the U.S.A.
We accept Visa and MasterCard and certain items, such as the box loom and prints, can be mailed upon request. All on-line items below are also available in our gift shop.
