RECREATING AN HISTORIC SETTING
The farmstead staff recently completed the new interpretive exhibit, “From Home to Headquarters: Washington in Worcester.” This is not the first year the Peter Wentz Farmstead has changed the first floor Stove Room into Washington’s aide-de-camp office to commemorate the Continental Army’s stay at the farmstead in October of 1777. It is, however, the first year the exhibit was produced completely in-house by farmstead staff.
